Ingredients
- 300–400 g seitan
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Black pepper
For the side dish
- Cooked rice, potatoes, quinoa, or bulgur
- Steamed vegetables or a fresh salad
Method
- Cut the seitan into strips or slices.
- Mix the soy sauce, olive oil, mustard, and spices.
- Coat the seitan well in the marinade.
- Cook it in a pan for 3–4 minutes on each side, or bake it in the oven.
- Serve with your chosen side dish and a fresh salad.
Tip
For a richer flavor, leave the seitan in the marinade for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
