Ingredients

  • 300–400 g seitan
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Black pepper

For the side dish

  • Cooked rice, potatoes, quinoa, or bulgur
  • Steamed vegetables or a fresh salad

Method

  1. Cut the seitan into strips or slices.
  2. Mix the soy sauce, olive oil, mustard, and spices.
  3. Coat the seitan well in the marinade.
  4. Cook it in a pan for 3–4 minutes on each side, or bake it in the oven.
  5. Serve with your chosen side dish and a fresh salad.

Tip
For a richer flavor, leave the seitan in the marinade for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
