There are lots of shows out there for meat-eaters, but none for vegetarians. After doing an all vegetarian show called “Green Goddess” I got a lot of feedback from people who loved the idea, but wanted a food show they could watch with their whole family. These days you’ve got meat eaters and vegetarians all over the place. So I thought of an idea that would appeal to EVERYONE. That idea is “The Vegetarian and the Carnivore.” The show takes a look at both sides of the food coin. It gives you meaty and meat-free options in tons of different cuisines. One of our biggest goals with this show was to make it fun. I hope you have fun watching it.
Luckily in the last six months we’ve gotten a chance to promote our idea on several big outlets. Here are some of those segments and don’t miss the pilot at the end!

I was thrilled to be able to promote a great movement on Fox 5 NY this past Saturday, Meatless Mondays. Yes I’d love people to be vegetarians or vegans 24/7, but I think doing it even one day a week is a good start. I’ve heard about Meatless Mondays for about a few years, but it has really gained steam lately. Mario Batali is having his restaurants take part. Another restaurant here in New York City, Dovetail, has helped bring it some attention with a meatless menu on Mondays and Oprah Winfrey even mentioned it on her show February 1st. You wouldn’t believe the amount of people texting, tweeting or emailing me that day during Oprah’s show that day to say they would be cutting back on meat. That’s what I like to hear. So with that in mind it was my pleasure to promote the cause using some of the great recipes I make with Lightlife products. Here’s the segment:
